FSC Accrediation
Protocol Communications Management Limited Achieves Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certification.
Protocol Communications Management, a leading provider of marketing, communications, design and print services today announced that it has achieved the Forest Stewardship Council accreditation.
FSC is an independent, non-governmental, not for profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests.
It provides standard setting, trademark assurance and accreditation services for companies and organizations interested in responsible forestry.
Kevin Griffin, Managing Director commented:
“We have made significant progress towards achieving our strategic objective of ‘continuously improving the quality standards across the whole of Protocol.
Being FSC certified shows that we comply with the highest social and environmental standards on the market. As public concern about the state of the world’s forests and timber resources increases, FSC provides a simple solution to complex environmental and social issues.
This is the culmination of many months work for a business which has been running for less than 3 years. Reaching this accreditation and achieving the award on our first assessment which only 1 in 180 companies do is a testimony to the enormous work that has been undertaken. I would like to thank all of our staff who have worked hard to achieve this award. I would also like to thank Gordon Davidson of Solutions for Quality, who specialises in this field and supported us with help and advice through the process.”
The FSC certification supports Protocol’s corporate objectives, while reinforcing a culture of excellence. As Protocol continues to expand in markets around the country, the accreditation will assure consumers that the products we supply come from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations.
